seeing that side view picture you can tell there is more of a rake.
I personally like the wheel choice, half polished half cast look.
It might not be enough rake for you still. You'll get a better feel when you see it in person.

Change that license plate to say IMADB
I never liked the look of 20's on a 32 or too much of a stagger that results in too much rake. The smaller diameter wheels you have and the way he has it sitting now is perfect. I think you are getting hung up on seeing the frame rails. Once the headers are mounted they will help in giving the illusion that its lower than it already sits. Its like when a house or (addition) room is added. It looks way too small untill its sheet rocked. (hows that for an analogy?).
I like subtle things.... and this thing is killer in detail.

LOVE the license plate idea! Oh gawd -- that made my day!

I'll see it today --- Steve seems to think it's perfect.... and was shocked at my email when I asked him if I had to get out of the car to lock up the front hubs... (he'll pad my bill another couple of grand for that comment).

I agree with you that the headers on it - and get the grill and hood on - it will "sit" differently.

I call the too much tire on these cars "clown shoes".... You see that all the time and I tried and tried to avoid making that mistake. We shall see.

BTW --- The plate (REDEUCE) was my way of saying RE deuce... since I was re-doing it... and the RED Deuce never entered my feeble DB mind until I got the plate.... and then I was like "oh - okay - well that works too!"

Listen closely Greg and you'll hear 'REDEUCE' say this to you...

Okay -- The Friday update!

After seeing the deuce in person -- I'm MUCH happier! My reaction to the photos was that the front tires/wheels were way too big... and that there wasn't much rake in the stance.... I jumped the gun.... and when you see it in person the tire/wheel sizes are great... there's rake to the chassis.... and it's lower than it appears in the pics. Add that the grill is now on it - and the headers... Much MO BETTA! The pictures still don't do it justice.

The trunk is done.....
