Just trying to keep up with Uncle Charley... well... keep up is an overstatement... trying to walk behind in his shadow is more like it!

We did!

Fired off just fine - got the Manometer and dialed in the stacks -- dialed in the timing.... found a few other niggly issues to deal with and since it was not nice weather (not to mention no upholstery or dash in the car) we were only doing a fire up and see what needed to be done - if anything.

I have the keyless pushbutton start.... and there seems to be some interference between it and the ECU.... so that "box" looks like it will be moved further away from the ECU and Chuck is going to do a little research with the manufacturer to see if they know of any "known issues". The MSD box is under the seat -- and the ECU is under the dash... as is the keyless brains.... as most of you know - there' ain't much real estate under a '32 dash and even less when you have a master cylinder and clutch MC under there!

The Smeding 383 sounds nasty --- and the exhaust note is great! They'll now pull the SS headers off for polishing now that we have timing and fuel right.

Skippers.... This ain't no $35K big whoop monster motor... it's a friggin' cheap azz Smeding crate 383.... nothing there to get all excited about. Jus' a little SBC. They built millions of 'em.

Well.... that... and I was busy trying to dial in the stacks and get timing set and keep my thighs off those pesky headers!

I'll take the Go Pro next trip when it actually goes out and prances around a bit. Unless I pull a Todd and forget to charge the dang little thing!
