Evidently these engines have an odd firing order that creates a funky pulse pattern between some of the cylinders. The stock headers are a Tri-Y design to capitalize on the pulses and help scavenge. The O2 sensors have to be placed at a specific angle, on a specific plane in the header to allow for optimum tuning. It's been an education to say the least. I'm going to be running the CJ intake as well, but with a mono blade throttle body which according to Shaun is the cat's ass. I guess we'll see. He's talking 500RW with a good intake, the right headers, CJ goodies, and his tune. In our light cars- that's mucho fun time.

Hmm, now that you mention it, I remember reading through the Coyote wiring harness instructions about O2 sensor placement, it told you where to place it, and in the case of long tubes, which primaries to place them in.
500rwhp is an impressive number for a Coyote. I'm shooting for about 460 at the wheels. I plan on using the stock Shelby throttle body because it favors better low rpm air velocity. I'd like to get as much bottom end grunt as possible because these motors are a dog down low.
