Thanks guys. I've got more parts on order and making good progress on it. I'm really looking forward to getting this car done and driving it.

Do you mind sharing what tools/abrasives you are using for cleaning up all of those welds? You're stuff looks fantastic. Especially all of those inside corners like the window frame.

Car is looking great. This is a fun project to watch.

Thank you.

On the large flat areas I'm using 60 grit flap disk on a 4" air grinder to get it close as it takes off a lot of metal fast. The tight corners I'm using a carbide burr bit in a straight die grinder then a sandpaper roll on a angle die grinder. The straight inside angle parts I'm just using a 3" cut off wheel to rough grind everything. To smooth the rough grinds down I'm using 36 grit down to 60 grit 3" roloc disks on a 2" arbor to get the disk to flex enough to get the corners smooth. Once everything is good to go I finish it all off with 80 grit on a DA.

I love this build. Do you have the inner fender extensions? I have the same fenders and inner fenders but I have no idea how to go about installing the extensions.

My fenders and extensions haven't shown up yet today so I'll have to get back to you on that one.

So I got good news and bad news.

The good news is I called Anvil and they told be the secret to bolting the extensions in.

The bad news is you have to cut the inner fenders then bolt, rivet, bond, or fiberglass the extensions to the inner fender.

I did get the carbon fenders bolted up real quick. They are going to need some work it get fit right, but they look fairly close for a starting point.
