RIP Boyd

Never met the man.

If its really true that he was nothing like his persona on TV, its a shame that it will be the way most people think and remember him.

It really hit home when i was in my garage today, looking at my wheels and thinking we probably would still be rocking 15 in cragars if it wasnt for him,not saying the man just means a set of wheels, but the magnitude of what he did for the industry. We lost one of the greats

Default Can you Imagine ??

Back when Boyd started the shop he had a bunch of our hero's working with him at the time. Can you imagine how cool it would have been to be working with that crew at the time ? Lil' John back in the machine shop smoking like a fiend and cursing at anything that moved - Boyd's laugh and silly shirts - Chips designs - Jesse James - what a blast that must have been huh ! Yeah, I'm sure there were bad times, fights, and bust business deals - but aren't there always bad times. Remember the good stuff.

Thanks for all the projects - billet stuff - and guidance/support of an industry we all love ! RIP

Nice read Steve. Thanks for sharing. He was and will continue to be an inspiration to many. This loss will be felt hard by everybody in/out of the industry.

Boyd Coddington was building clean smooth rides 20 years ago, when all others built flaked out chrome monsters. Truly "The Master".

RIP.
