its interesting to see how the Camaro was restored. Great job and good luck to more improvements. I would love to see it here.

Finally started to pull the car apart for the big color change. I am pretty happy with how solid the car is. Very little rust anywhere, even in the rear quarter lower areas. You can see a lot of the original Garnet Red paint, which is what I think I will be going back to. Here are some pics.

Dont worry, I am not going to try to use the original Garnet red. I want to bring it into the modern time, and get away from the flat color that the orange had. I am not sure if I will do a little metallic or pearl to give it a little pop.

Got the last of the stuff off the car Sunday and Monday nights. I wasn't sure if the 15" corvette rally wheels would fit the back but they cleared the Willwoods by about 1/4" on the caliper. All thats left is put one of the original seats back in and deliver to the body shop next week.
