NorCal road trip thread for RTTC II

I'm with Roger ---- Get to El Toro on THURSDAY -- and mess around all day Friday (that's what we did last year) and make a nice weekend out of it.

Last year we hit Ironworks on the way down -- then on Friday hit Bent Fab - JCG - Tom Nelson (Nelson is in the same parking lot as Bent)... and had a nice cruise down in HEAVY traffic - but that's because of bad planning. We also did Best of Show in there somewhere... which was another good trip.

I had planned on making the drive down on Friday, but some of you (even you Greg) are speaking some sense about getting down a day earlier... so I got a call into my small group of 2 so far to see if we can commit to Thurs. If so, the plan to go to Ironworks on Thurs sounds great.

Blake you really wanna get this locked in early huh!

Greg, Ned and myself tried FOOSE on a friday. There closed. they are on a 4 day work week. And shop visits only during lunch hour. noon to 1pm

just working on my new moto "Don't Leave it to the last minute" thats all. i can only think that trying to get 10-20 guys to meet up over 1500 miles isn't going to be easy, and i am not one to be waitin arround on the side of the road it's a long enough drive with out that.

Blake I am with ya bro! My small group is locked in for the Thurs drive now. I feel a lot better now too not rushing it on Friday without any margin for error. I think we will be heading from the South Bay over on Hwy 152 to the 5.

I'll be at the Fri dinner and cruise along with attending both days of racing. Also offering help with car and trailer parking in Long Beach (+-1/2 hr away from El Toro) for the few of you that may want secure parking while you visit some of the So. Cal. sites.
