Slowly picking away at it. Finally got up the nerve to cut a hole in the firewall. After locating where I wanted it I drilled just the 1/4" center hole first. Then I attached the hole saw and ran the bit backwards to cut through the paint/filler. Then slowly cut the 2" hole. It didn't go as bad as I feared it could.

I mounted the Holley HP ECU under the dash up where the original center speaker should go. I need to beef up the mounting a little bit and clean up the under dash wiring but think this location should work.

With the birth of our first child (Jacob) last February and a busy year with work there has not been much Camaro time. Jacob came 6 weeks early and it’s been a wild ride ever since then. I'm glad to report everyone is doing well. It’s hard believing that he’s almost a year old.

The Camaro did not leave the garage in 2012. Definitely need to get it out this year. I’m taking some time off work at the end of the week to get a few to-dos checked off. Thought I’d post up a couple older pics to get myself psyched up.

The last thing I did was get the Rick’s tank mounted. I plan to work on the fuel lines and tank venting this week.

If all goes well I will be posting up some updates on Sunday.

Congrats Ed, the introduction of a kid to first time parents is definitely a game plan changer! I remember my wife's Superwoman transformation well.

Make some headway on the car before the second kid arrives!

Sounds like 2012 was a good year none the less. I hope 2013 is even better!

Thanks Scott! Definitely a life changing experience but it's all been worth it. And yeah, I have a huge amount of respect for my wife!

Keep plugging away, Jacob will be in kindergarden begging for a ride before you know it.
