Default Smokin deal available on Miller migs...

For anyone interested in picking up a great MIG at a super price you might want to check out Grainger. The deal seems too good to be true but...

Grainger apparently has the Miller 180 and 140 mig setups for ~$395 and ~$335 respectively. That is the kit price that includes the cart as well. That price is over 50% off typical prices you can find.

Only time will tell if this is actually legit and not a mistake but right now I gotta think they are selling a TON of welders. Nothing to gain on my part. Just passing on a what appears to be a great deal for something every "car guy" needs

Miller 140 mig

Editting to add this link to another forum(good one for types like us I might add ). There is more info here however lots of people that have talked to Grainger are getting mixed information. Heres to hoping this is legit. Garage Journal Thread

John, thanks for posting, I figured I'd give it a shot, even though I just bought new Hobart few months ago, can't have too many welders, lol. Called and spoke with a rep, at first he said the price was over 1k, so I mentioned the prices I see on their site, he then confirmed it's $332 and $395, so I ordered one. Should be here in 7-8 business days, I'll update this thread once I receive it.

Buy one of these, a pile of steel, a tank of welding gass and have at it.
There is a great article in the latest hot rod to get you going.

BTW, I have an older Lincoln that I share with a buddy(Same size and capability as the Miller 180), I maght buy one of these new 180's and just let him have the Lincoln. This is an Amazing deal!!

Cool. Glad it might help you guys out. I suspect you Ironworks guys do go through some equipment .

I ordered one myself and have absolutely no use for it since I have a barely used 175. I intend to put the 175 on CL with the cart that comes with this 180. I should be able to break-even.

Just walked into the local Grainger and they told me there's no more. I'll have to try online.
