One of my all-time favorite cars...wicked job on the fabrication as well as the entire thought process going into this build...which leads to this question,how long did it take you to plan this build out and how many revisions to that original plan if any.I'm blown away...great work!

Man this might be the deepest question I have ever had on a message board.

The car is really the same concept that is was in the beginning. The road became more defined as the journey continued on. But if you go back to the original dash concept to the big chunk of billet sitting there it is still the same concept. I think if you around the custom car world you can look at a car and tell who built it. Their style stands out as much or more then then actual car styling from the manufacturer of car originally.

These are some original sketches we did of the dash concept



To latest drawing of the dash to the final product.



Good ideas never go out of style but the way you pull them off will change as you learn new methods to do things. We are doing more and more in Solidworks as it allows us to think deeper and get more detail then you could afford to in making some parts by hand.
