I guess if you can't get it done with a scalpel an overheating sledge hammer will do.

Default Goodguys Delmar

We made it out to our first Goodguys Show before the year ended.. It was a blast to watch the car go down the Autocross track.. Dave & Mary Pozzi were behind the wheel of the car helping me get a feel for the car & to see what needs to be done before we put a full load on the it.. We got a few small issues we need to get sorted out before we track it again.. I was planning on taking it to Streets of Willow on the 4th of Dec. But the front fenders are coming back off so that we can modify the inner wells.. they are rubbing on the inside & have blistered the paint plus the brake booster is not working properly.. I think we are just gonna convert it to manual brakes.. need to put a breather tank on the rear-end.. & just finish off all the details before we deliver it.. In the mean time I daily drive it & use it as my parts chaser! We will also be renting out the Camarillo Airport for testing & tuning with Pozzi’s in early January...

I got to drive the car once down the Autocross with Doug Renner as co-pilot.. Bill Goldberg kept egging me on that I should drive it.. I got thru the course with the car in one piece & did not knock down any cones.. That was a blast...

Here is a pic with Mary behind the wheel..

Here is a small video of the car going down the track with Dave @ the wheel..

The biggest surprise for us was that we got Muscle Machine of the Year Finalist Award for 2012! By the time we get to Columbus the car will have ran a few track events.. so we will see how the detail of the car holds up.. Just being a finalist is an honor.. We are going to be running the crap out the car.. First event is “Run to the Alamo” in TX..

More pics !

BTW- here is a pic of the tow hooks.. The function on these work great for when we transport the car!
