I ain't dropping the clutch at 4000 rpm with sticky tires, and that's what usually kills driveshafts and drivelines parts.

I don't know the last time I read about a twisted DS on the PT forums... On Yellowbullet or LS1tech? Yeah, plenty.

Haha thanks David. I'm sure we will be looking to get rid of at least one of the Muncies here at some point.

Listen to THAT guy? No way!

Agreed, and I'm really just adding little things for now .... and it's fun to add little things here and there.. One big thing left (hopefully at some point) is to add a full frame. Working on that plan but I like trying to compete with my stock sub and leafs for now.

But all that stuff is moot unless you are working on your driving and practicing to get better and learn your car.
You're heading in the rt direction.. Seat time seat time seat time!! Do you hang out on Yellowbullet much? That's my home away from home LOL

From time to time yes, and often looking there for parts or to learn more about a detailed subject.

Just picked up a Holley 830HP there for a good price!

I wouldn't rank it high on the priority list I don't think, unless you were at a point where you thought the stock DS wasn't going to hold. Unless you found a great deal on one, I would probably do it later. My stock steel DS was doing just fine, but since I needed a change in length I decided to shop for a "deal" and got lucky.[/QUOTE]

I can see both points.

From the rpms I've heard this machine doing... a stock DS is no match! Don't forget that all DS are rated in RPMS and have maximums that should be adhered to.

You are right Greg, and I thought of that point after I had posted. Ft/lb ratings are the thing I usually see them rated to though for all those drag strippers.

I'll consider myself fortunate to have lasted this long with my stocker.

Looks and sounds awesome
I would dent that header and get it off your oil pan. That is transferring some serious heat into that oil pan.
