It might be partially his fault I'm addicted to fast cars. Oh the money I've burned because of Mark Stielow.

I wonder if my wife will accept that excuse when I drop the money for new wheels in a few weeks.

Default Chevy Vs Dodge ???

Just a Thought:
Mark Stielow's HELLFIRE 1969 Camaro

VS

Dodge's Challenger 2015 SRT HELLCAT

Drag Strip
Road course
Autocross
Speed stop challenge

I think that would be a lot of fun.

I would bet the Dodge would lose every challenge.

The new Z/28 would beat the Challenger in everything but the Dragstrip. I would like to see Mark run Hellfire against the Z/28 like he did with the ZL1 vs. Red Devil. It's really cool that Dodge is building it though. I'm glad to see the horsepower war is alive and well, better than it ever was back in the day.

Mark's new car is cooler than any of them though...

What Casey said!

I wasn't really bashing Mopar for building what is a pretty cool power plant.... I just wish they would buy into some engineering and give us a car that can actually USE that amazing level of power for something other than roasting tires in a straight line.

This is where - to me - GM is so far ahead of the curve... with the AMAZING Corvette platform - and what they're doing with the Camaro line up.

Ford is trying... and showed us the goods with the Laguna... They just haven't taken the next step which would be some serious power AND handling capability. They have the power part down. A little less plastic -- and a little more weight balancing... Funny -- the exact same things they missed out on back in the day.

Not saying people can't MAKE these cars handle -- but it would be nice to see the factory (ala the Z/28 etc) put some effort in a showroom version.
