I have never seen the 54 Vette in person but am surprised it did not make the top 5. There is at least one car that Vette should have beat into the top 5.

I am very shocked the 54 Vette did not make it in the top 5 as well. In person it looked great to me.
Congrats to everyone that made the top 5 none the less

I saw it at GNRS and again this weekend. I was thinking hands down it would be in the top 5. That's the only car out the 5 that I had pre chosen that didn't make it.

I have some gripes. One it really sucks that there was no autocross. That made it just a beauty contest again.

That leads into the second need to vent: Combined with the normal auto show politics, the lack of performance proof really seemed to set the tone for an outright beauty contest. There were other cars that, IMO, seemed much more suited to be in the top five.
I think the DSE Manning Camaro gets a pass for the autocross.. lol

And not much you can do if it rains.. just bad luck (or good if your car handles like a pig)

I'm pretty sure the Roadster Shops car would be a handler as well since all thier stuff does.

The rest is a mystery!

Didn't look off to me when I saw the car.. Then again it was built to be driven so (like my car) I doubt they wanted crazy tight gaps that become problematic. Beautiful car..

Same here.. expected it to be in the top 5.. Was the Mustang all that great or was it picked because it was a Ford?

Seems like after that year with the 4 Camaros they now do the PC deal and have a ford/chevy/mopar in the mix.. like a quota system.. lol

Sorry I missed the show, but I got a ton of work done.

i couldn't believe the vette didn't make it. the mustang was a suprise to me. it was very nice though. i really liked the 72 firebird(it was different). the camaro was just way out there to me. it kinda reminded me of the cuda from 07, but it stood out from the rest to me. awesome.
