Well we had a good day today got three of the four walls up. The only one not up is one that ties into the house its only eight feet long. Here are some more pictures of the progress.
And here's the guy who had the worst job of the day.
I drilled a hole in a 2x4 to help him by holding t he ground rod from bouncing all over the place. But still glad I didn't have to do it.
Tomorrow they will finnish the last wall and sheet it . We need an inspection from the electrical dept. Then he sends the ticket to the power company to inspect it . Then they put in for a demo permit from elec. co. Then they come to move the power wire to the temp service. I don't even want to think how long this deal is going to take. The top of the front wall is already touching the telephone wires and the power is only 3-4 feet higher.
Tony SHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! The guy on the other side was just as high but on a shorter ladder.
When they started this morning it was raining but it cleared up by 9:30 and 75 degrees. Sunny tomorrow but the 70's went ba by.
They got all the siding up today. Here are some pictures of the progress.
The opening in the wall is for my through wall A/C unit..
Finnished sheating
Looking out the garage door from the front of the house.
These pictures are of the temp power we're hoping the elec. inspector passes so we can get a demo permit from the power co. Then they put you on the list to get it done. Any body in Ma have any pull with National Grid??? If this doesn't happen soon we will be dead in the water. The power is only 3-4' above the top of the front wall.
