Numb hands just mean you won't feel it when you cut your finger off. I mean, you have 10 fingers, it won't hurt if you lose 1

We started having normal weather here today. It's been unusually warm around here this winter.

I got out this afternoon ready to drop my motor in and ran into another snag, so I gave up. I'm pushing the motor back into the corner and going to start my micro-tubs and get my AirBar installed when it shows up Now I need to sell my Hotchkis springs to help come up with the rest of the money for my front wheels and tires. I stepped up and bought some 18's. They weren't my first choice, but the GM Rally's just weren't doing it for me anymore.

Are you doing DSE tubs or splicing your inners? I am going with the Air Ride system, front and back (unless I win the lotto then I'll go RS stuff).
Good luck!

I'm going to just splice into the inners in there now. I'm going to try not to cut into the frame, hence, micro-tub. I am trying to accomodate 10.5 wheels with 295 tires.

Hit the lotto! I hear ya! No telling what I would do

Thumbs up Garage Time

2/11 Update Well ... I worked on the drop off patch today, I did hear the radio guy say it was 19 this afternoon, so it had to be just above freezing inside I stayed until I had the patch where I could tack it in and work on the outer panel before I fully welded the both together, and then I could not feel my toes!
So ... this is where I am today, I'll weld tomorrow, should be middle 30's

The front of the patch ready to weld, galvanized YEAH!!!!

I still need to clean off the undercoating before welding

This really bugs me, I'm gonna wheel this soon!

Thanks for looking,

Thanks Kirk Wished I could have stayed out in the garage longer, just too cold to keep going. You know how cold it was today huh? Tomorrow should make more progress.

Some progress is better than no progress. Did you get your new mini-die grinder?

It was sunny here today, but very windy. I was driving to the hardware store today and saw a bird flying but not moving. haha! It was also snowing. Temperature in my garage showed a balmy 61*'s

A little at a time ... then you're done right? I wished I could get the garage up to 50 let alone 60!!!!
The email said I should get my air grinder on Tuesday, and I'll put it straight to work
More to follow, thanks....

Michael
