Yeah that's what I was thinking too, get the glass ones and modify them. That's the route I would go. Not sure how that front suspension is set up but most of the guys with low '69's are getting away with fender clearance partly because they are taking advanatge of negative camber. The fender style line is iconic so I'm guessing you don't want to lose that but it's also a pain when you want the car low with fat tires. The '67 & 8's are just more fitting for flared out fenders with those big round openings. It's all a compromise I guess. Most of the guys I've seen that have their cars down in the dirt have to run pretty small front tires.

Anvil had their blem blowout sale going. I had no intentions of getting carbon fiber parts but after calling them I put some $$$ together and headed down. Ended up with a header panel, hood, cowl, trunk and spoiler for less than their retail hood price. After getting those pieces it was time to figure out the fenders. It did feel a little odd cutting up new pieces even if they are aftermarket.

If you went with a flat face rim like a Forgestar, could you of prevented the wide body?

It needs the flat face/high offset rim for the suspension to work properly. Just like a Corvette does.

Wow, that's an incredible amount of metal work. You've got skills!
This is my favorite build right now.
