That image was taken Oct 2010. Construction was in progress. Love the history of the place, accommodations, and service is nice, not over done. Never did get to play the golf courses since our trips were off season, I'd like to as they look decent.......and I've never played above 3500'

I would have loved to have been on the mountain for Michelle's Mouton's run in the Audi.

Ah yes....the beautiful French lady in the works Audi... She really rocked the world lol. That car was something else. I got a close look at it. That was before the days when everybody and their brother built cars out of carbon
fiber. WOW...some machine.

The super cars of Millen, Bobby Jr, etc made a big splash too! How about those in-car vids nowadays ....that's what I'm talking about.

Thanks Greg, I appreciate it.

This fawn showed up one day in the back yard and hung out for a couple of weeks. One day the herd came by and he left when a large doe came over. I wonder if it was his mother. He had no fear of humans or other animals. He would eat right out of your hand.

A bird flew into the house one day through the patio doors. Missy and Mouse were interested! I made sure the bird got out safely shortly after this was taken. lol

That shot of the Michigan river looks like a jigsaw puzzle. Great shots....

Where is that hotel at? Colorado?

^ the Broadmor is in Colorado Springs. It is absolutely beautiful and a great place to party (take my word for it, they're pretty tolerant, lol). The spa is top 5 in the world according to SPA Magazine and the views/golf is fantastic.

I was there before the remodel and it was killer. I can only imagine what it looks like now.

Broadmor is nice. Too nice. I was there a couple years ago now. Luckily, I didn't foot the bill. I felt really weird having valet parking since I come and go often in a hotel. Lovely area in general. Of cool note is the fact that Cheyenne Mountain is right there too. Yes, that Cheyenne Mountain.

Don, you too have a cat named Mouse? I was thinking I was the only one crazy enough to name a cat Mouse. She was tiny when I found her so I felt it fit. She's not so tiny any more, lol.

Here's a link to Nat Geo's picture contest. Everyone an amazing shot in my opinion.

Trey, Mouse is the white and orange cat above. He passed away over 3 years ago now. What a great cat! He was more like a dog in many ways. He would follow you around on hikes outside and we would never have to worry about him. He was big too.
