Lenie I can't believe you couldn't get them to work. There is a ton of adjustment . Is your hood OEM or AfterCrap? I had a problem with mine only to figure out it was the AfterCrap hood causing the problem! So I had to adjust accordingly!

To funny, Mario it's the original hood, I just ran out of downward adjustment on the back bolt slots. I was told to work the forward and back bolts together until it settled in but that just didn't do the trick so I re machined the slots and shoulders, but I do like your approach and have taken that same route in the past.
Shoulda taken the header over to my buddy Brad at Performance Coatings -- I'd have made a call and made sure it was DONE!
Replace that Fesler stuff with some Ring Brothers. See ya in Lost Wages dude!
I have ring brother hinges and I had to stand on my hood with Tim, like Mario did, and still had to take the hinges to the milling machine to get more adjustment. You got to realize that we are working to tighten all the gaps and get perfect panel alignment on the car. Every car is different and some need more adjustment.
