It's actually BEETLE country up there that does the damage, but yeah... just too much at risk here.

Do I need earthquake insurance at Weld Towers?

I'm excited to get back in a house.... I'm one of the very few I know who correctly timed the RE market these past 10 years.

I'd like to sell the heads complete with valvetrain ideally. We'll see.

Thanks, but I cancelled the house deal today.... not comfortable with the inspection and the significant work performed on it the past 12 months.

Here was a shot of the monstrosity of a support structure for the parking pad adjacent to the house/garage. And this pic doesn't even do it justice.

Totally bummed because it was a killer property but it is the right move for us. Back into the trenches I go.....
I don't think "Weezie" would let George Buy that House either...That looks crazy...

Back in the trenches you go...The right one will come along....

It still sucks and is hard work..But buying the wrong one is worse..

More on the Engine..

Yes, unfortunately we leaned out on the road course and detonated, we had a nice 830 holley at the shop that could have saved the headache, oh well, hindsight. Cheers to Dave for the great job keeping an eye on the gauges and doing some awesome driving. We still had a great time and it was awesome to have all three of the Road Touring Custom cars in the shootout.See you guys at Buttonwillow

There will be another, that pic looks like more liability than asset. I'd rather use all that timber to build a shop than support a house.

Accelerating is optional...........stopping is mandatory. Your car WILL stop one way or another.

Great job of watching the water temp go to 240?

Hindsight? Shiiiaatt... we shoulda done a lot of things before a carb change... Don't worry. This next motor will be tuned and dialed in by a pro so you and I can't possibly screw it up.

There's hundreds of houses like that in the Oakland Hills. That don't scare me by itself. It was the cumulative of many issues at the end. But yeah... there will be another.
