coming along nicely! I also run 315's up front, I didn't have to flare the fenders, the neg camber I run tucks them in nicely. I think I'm at -2.8

x2. It's a good looking hood that doesn't get utilized as often as I think it should. The 65 BB vette hood is the same way to me. Good choice, Chief. Keep up the good work!

That's good to know ... I think -2.8 is a little aggressive for the street thou!

Just got done working on it today!

Homework done and a little Camaro time today, stripped the EDP and got two coats of etching primer ... had to wait til 2030 cuz the temps were too high, go figure ... it's August!

Anyway, hood and radiator support is done, I can take them off my to-do list!

This SS hood is really growing on me, gonna order the 67 SS vents instead of the 69's ice cube style, that'll make the hood pop!!

Thanks for looking ... guess no one is coming out to Pike's Peak IR for OPTIMA series, gonna be bummed watching imports, ZO6 vettes and Gen 5 Camaros!

Car is coming along great! That's funny I have a 67 original hood and I always liked the 68 Ice Cube Tray inserts better than the finned 67 inserts. I guess the grass is always greener somewhere else. I am hoping to keep my SS hood as well.

I am sticking with the finned inserts ... something different!

You are welcome ... I am getting there MAYBE?

Brought home my newest part from a 03 Saturn Vue, need to make up a bracket and order the wiring adapter and figure out what I need to make it to the rack and pinion.

Heading out in the am to Pike's Peak IR to watch the OPTIMA race event, I'll share pics when I get back Sunday.

Thanks for looking ...

Just Curious why you picked that steering column? Electric assist? Have fun watching the Optima events, I just ran Charlotte two weeks ago and had a blast! Being around all those cars will either make you speed up your progress, or change directions on different parts of your build! Don't say I didn't tell you so!

I like the hood choice too with the 67 inserts.

C, nice hood had one, all 3 hoods are my favorite, traded my SS hood for my cowl hood, sold it, was really rusted, bought my current cowl hood GM, for a song, when I get back to working on my car I'm going to look for a flat one, maybe I'll just buy the flat in carbon fiber, that would be cool, nice work on the car,

Very nice idea for the electric assist column.
Less stock under the hood, I will follow this for sure and probably copy you.
I prefer to repair clean wires over messy fluid, I hate playing with hydrolic and I want a easy removable engine and this is a must in my eyes.
