Default Late 2nd Gen Transformation

After much consideration I have decide it's time to share my project. I was building a '67 Pro-Touring Camaro, but had to sell it before it was complete. I learned a lot from that build, I searched long and hard for a car to continue my Pro Touring dreams. Here it is.......

I plan a full resto, going slight Pro-Touring theme. Not cutting the body, everything will be retained to return to stock. I have a full Hotchkis Stage 2 TVS system for it. Planning 18x8 up front and 18x10 out back. Also installing LSIII crate motor and a T56 magnum. Should be fun.

Looks like you've got a nice Camaro to start with. What are the details on the car?

That is a clean example. Is it a '78 or '79? I look forward to seeing the end result

It is a '79, I have been lead to believe I'm somewhat nuts to modify this car. The way I look at it...... Body work took over 75% of time and budget on my first project; So I'm that much further ahead.

Nice car! I like the color. Don't worry about modifying it. It sounds like your plans aren't so radical that it can't be returned to stock. Keep all the stuff you take off the car if you're worried about it though.

Welcome to the site.

Looking for wheel suggestions. What do you all think of these?

The first IMO. What color are you painting the car or will you keep the factory paint? I think the spoke color will look good against the red of the car. However, I'm afraid the gold and bronze in the stripes and decals will clash. It'll be too many different colors that are similar on one car. Again, just my opinion though. I like the wheel design regardless of color.
