Default Tire Height Front & Rear Need To Match ???

Do I need to match front tire height to the rear ? I Already have set of Nitto 555 Extreme ZR 285/35/18 for the rear & I believe they are 25.9 "n Height , do I need to match the Front ?
I am Running 18x8's up front & 18x9.5 's out back .

You dont have to (unless awd/4wd). Just make sure the front isn't taller than the rear so you have a weird taller sidewall up front than in the back.

Right now i have 25.7" fronts and rear is 27.5" I went with this to give the rear a really beefy look since it's a Drag Radial. Try and Keep the sidewall CLOSE for the "pro-touring" look imo.

I think most cars have staggered height tires with rear being slightly taller cuz they are mostly always wider than fronts. I think the key to a proper visually appealing look is to have equal sidewall heights or slightly taller sidewall in the rear.

A 235/40/18 (25.4") or 245/40/18 (25.7") would look good with those 285/35's.

I actually run a 245/40/18 front with a 275/40/18 rear. I like a little more sidewall on the rear just for looks, so no, they do not need to match.

I like more Sidewall too , but I Parted out a Wrecked '02 Z28 with 18x9.5 C6 wheels all around & they all had 285/35/18 tires ...2 Nitto 555 Extremes & 2 Continentals ( Gives me 2 sets of rears to burn off ). I will be in those Tires for Free once I Sell the C6 Wheels so the shorter sidewall will have to do for now .
That's why I am leaning toward a 25.7 or so Front now , Think I will go with the Nitto 555 Extremes from all the Reviews I have Read ....

I have the Nitto 555's on my Camaro and they're a good all around tire. I think the 245's are a good match for your rears.

Default More Side Wall

I like more side wall so I'm running 255/45/18s up front (27") with 295/40/18s out back (27.3")... Falken has the 295/40/18
