my first photoshop rendering!

hey all, just wanted to share this - inspired by the work on here, figured id try to teach myself how to do these. semi-familiar with photoshop, from a photography perspective, but didnt even know about the pen tool till 4 days ago. still havent figured out the gradient tool, just made do with dodge and burn on this one...

not really any original design work, pretty much just straight copied a reference photo (though i did change the color), using this more for a learning exercise... no tablet either, stuck with just the mouse for now as well...

Not a bad start. The pen and gradient tool will come in handy.

thanks man. yeah, pen tool im liking. gradient i need to figure out, idk what my deal is, probably just look for a youtube tut on it or something

Great start!!! The air brush and eraser tool are also yer friends.
