Default HELP ID'ing HOSE CLAMP!!! (not gates power grip)

Ok.... so take a look at Mark's Jackass intake tube ( 4 inch diameter I believe) and help me find out what kind of clamps he used?!?!?! They are super clean black clamps, and unless the joint/bolt etc is hidden underneath, they look completely smooth......

the gates clamps are wider and dont go that big... soI have no clue. BDL inustries has a nice clamp but they have visible fasteners and hinge points...

any thoughts?

It's a lot easier just to ask him yourself... I'm sure he'd know what they are.

You can PM people... do you know how this is done?

are you talking about "Gates PowerGrip®" Hose Clamps ?

from 1/2 to 3-5/8 diameters... (no 4 inch though)

I use heat shrink on some things. it's super cheap (but doesn't look it) and it cleans up things a little bit. an ISCA judge told me about that trick before

I havesent Mark some PMs, but i know he's busy and didn't want to bug him.... I can post a pic from his threads, I just figured someone might know the car....

I specifically said I didnt think they were the gates ones, as gates only lists up to 3 1/4 inch and the throttle body on the LS9 is 4 inches diameter.

Hence the fact I thought they were not Gates shrink clamps..... I have a 4 inch throttle body too..so I wanted to find out!

alright so I took a look and couldn't find a picture that shows the area well enough. Anyone care to help me out and link or post it? This sounds like a neat trick.
