Default Hi, handicapped racing here.

Good day, the names Mike
I make the handle ONE EYE after my car accident back in '96.
Since then I have a look of an Encyclopedia of medical files...
So it's easier to say what NOT wrong with me...
No AIDS
No sex infecto's
No mental dis.... uhh, still studying this one...

Been a car guy since I was a seminar in dad's... you get that idea also..
I am now in wheelchair due to No muscle and crap.
But I'm trying to get one of my projects together...
1970 EL Camino..
I'm in ontario cananda, so can't crawl in the fuukn igloo, a polar bears keep spilling my Timmy's.. lol

So far the car is,
70 elco from Arizona (sb, auto, A/C, base car)
I have a '66 396 seasoned with a dash of pepper, there's a B&M th350 (coming out for silly stick) 12 bolt and towing hitch (cant forget that..)
Attempting to add a PROCHARGER P1SC to it (bolted on, not plumbed)
I have tubular front arms, HOWE 1"L upper balljoints and .5"L lowers, KONI classics adjustable shocks
UMI 2" lowering Springs
91 454 SS 12.7:1 steering box going in
2016 camaro 14"/14.5" BREMBO 4 piston calipers
I was the honored to be the first person to order KORE3 gen 5/6 brake brackets with EILLWOOD E-brake.
I have e all to rebuild the 12 bolt to a 3.90:1 geared positraction rear end.

Parts for project are
New moog steering parts *
AEROMITIVE A2000 pump and regulator
AEROMOTIVE pump controller
1/2"/-8 alum line (would like 5/8/-10 line. Maybe someday)
MSD DIGITAL 6
MSD 85551 distributor
ROH 18" modena 2pc rims
86 REXARO option firebird seats
2nd gen firebird steering wheel
Have some aitomoeter gaiges and Stewart Warner speedo/tach
'86 4+3 vette tranny
Hurst ramrod or super shifter III IF I CAN ADAPT TO 4+3 TRANNY)

*still need
Center link
Pitman arm
Steering arms (hope for aftermarket longer for bump steer )
Tubular rear control arms
Hood (may make diy cowl)
Wired/hooked up.
Plumbed for fluids
The other day I was bored and made use of a medical boxe...
And made an idea that would be nice ..

It is ugly, thats the point...still pretty-er than me. Hahaha

I got the charger from up on the hill in Hamilton.
The guys name was Chico chimorrow (Chico was not full nale)-it apparently had been in a barn.

I finally got the balljoints buttoned up, GLOBAL WEST bumpsteer steering arms on, and the new outter tie rods and adjusters on (cant find the inner arms i bought lol) and the idler arm bolted on
(All steering is NAPA as well as pitman arm and centerline will be)

I just ordered new drum brake hubs instead of cutting rotors or taking the old hubs off the original drum setup.
(Due to wheelchair gimpyness i could'nt cut rotors or carry old drums up from back on dirt floor. And that rumor that friends help definatly isn't true, even when offered to pay...)

'ElCornerio' is poking along...

Hopefully figured the hub issue out.
Ordered new drum brake hubs from camaro central. They arrived today

So in the next few days I'm going to see if they will work, if so I will then install completely
Yay to the me lol

(I plan on changing to longer studs ARP or MOROSO RACING)

Spent a little time in garage remembering I'm not a goldfish (I just resemble a bloated one lol)
Bloodthinners even ruin 8° (Canadian 8) lol

All these medical supplies come in handy every now and again. Hands stayed clean cause I played DR. With the lube and crevices/holes.. heh heh heh.
I definately did not order China bearings.. but guess what....
So they are in there for now at least.
Totally forgot I have a seal/race installer... remembered after I cocked one apping it in using small dead blow.

(Supposed to gave canadian bearing or SKF bearings/seals, and synthetic high heat grease... and they send the cheap stuff)

Hubs are on, preload isnt set (been sidelined a long while, worried I lost the 'feel' so backburner) need to get wire cutters to clip the remaining protruding short side of ALL cotterpins.

So, all together now....

Tried to fit a rotor on for pic (and to continue ambition).
That is where this train of hope and excitement derailed.

The drum brake hubs face that aligns drum is too large for the BIGxLARGE rotor hole ID

I want to change studs to extra long anyhow, but now have to find OD of '16+ camaro/vette front wheel hub so i can get rotors fit before installing brake chompers. Lol
