Default el camino doors

So i have decided to do a 1 piece window setup on my 70 elcamino. the past owners cut holes for speakers in the doors. where they cut them the new front rail for the window sits where they cut them. some of it does have a doubler plate on the back side. what is the recommended way to fix this? i have not found a set of good doors yet.
thanks

Fabricate patches and butt weld them in. At least that is what I have done. Is the doubler needed to install the new windows?

Thanks don. no the doubler is not needed for the windows. its just part of the area where the door hinges are. for some reason people cut the doors in the elcamino's.
