Default Some Pics from the August Baileigh Metal Shaping Class

The metal shaping team from Baileigh hosted another metal shaping class this August. We had students and celebrity metal shaping instructors fly in from all over the country for a 2 day course on metal shaping. The class focused on the English Wheel, Power Hammer, Planishing Hammer, Shrinker / Stretchers, Bead Rollers and several other metal shaping and forming machines.

We have these classes all of the time, so if you are interested…..please email [email protected]

I forget what I was watching the other night but I caught one bad ass Baileigh commercial! Very well done and held my attention through the entire ad, nice work!

.... and there I am in the background with the pic of RMD/ Baileigh's new Mondo Yoder Killer Power hammer!! I bugged Shane for over a year to get into one of these classes so when the call came in that there was a spot I jumped on it. It was a great opportunity to be able to try out all of their different equipment and see it being used first hand by guys using them daily like Mark Gerisch from the Academy for the Art of Metal Shaping, Kyle Yocum from Yokum Signature Hot Rods, Mike Wagner from Cornfield Customs, and Austin Paruch from Motion Products (and a couple others I didn't meet personally.) I highly recommend you start ringing up Shane's phone and get on the waiting list for this class. I have a feeling they are going to start offering it more often due to the demand... Shane said he got over 200 phone calls and emails in the last couple days leading up to the August class. Fabulous experience all the way around!

I've been dabbling with metal fab since about the beginning of last year fumbling my way through things with my little 3-in-1 machine and my bead roller but made the decision earlier this year to get more serious and had started buying independent machines... well after this class and some private class time I bought with Mark Gerish's Academy I'm going off the deep end.. Pics to follow in the next week or so in the tools and equipment forum once they show up at the new shop. ish is getting real around Revved.
