Default 1/25 Pro-Touring 1965 Chevelle

This is a build up of a 1/25 65 Chevelle that I have just started. The only real decision that I've made so far is that the drivetrain will be a fuel injected 502 with a 5 speed trans out of a 90's Camaro.

I intend to two tone the body, but have not made up my mind on the colors. Attached are a couple of photos, I will be updating this on a regular basis and hope to keep the interest of the Lateral-g faithful.

Thanks for the encouragement guys.

With regards to the motor, it is a resin 502 from Ross Gibson. It is a really nice piece. The hard part will be making the induction system.

The wheels are Kranze Cerberus from Aoshima. I really like the look of these wheels on the Chevelle.

Once I settle on a color combo I will be able to kick things into high gear.

I was wondering if that was a Ross Gibson. I've always wanted to try one of those pieces, but havn't had the money when a suitable project came along. I can't wait to see more!

Other than cleaning up the mating surfaces, I found it to be a pretty good kit. All resin casts, need a little massaging.

As far as induction, I'm thinking of a dual inlet coming from in front of each fenderwell and then mating the two pipes at the plenum. Simple, yet cool looking.
