Default Another transmission bites the dust

I know absolutly nothing about transmissions, but im going to try and see what yall might think is wrong, I had this transmission (turbo 350) rebuilt a year ago and they put in a manual valve body along with the rebuild, all was going good, i had the transmission in the car for about a year and only put around 1000 miles on it well about 2 hours ago i was driving around and shifted into 3rd at around 1500 rpm's and it wasnt there went back to second it was gone to, first as well. it made no noises when it went, the fluid is full and still looks brand new. reverse still works fine i just lost all my forward gears so im lost. I'm going to call the shop that rebuilt it in the morning and see what they say but i was just wondering what yall had to say about it. thanks for any feedback

oooh oooh i know i know. kinda happened to me my forward speed drum blew up. if u lost all forward gears, and u still reverse sounds like what happened to me. the valve body was sending too much pressure to the forward clutch drum and blew it up after 4 rebuilds and 3 drums later we finnaly figured it out. well thats my guess. pull the pan off and check for debrie, and if ur adventurus tear into it.

Well i took the transmission back to the shop that rebuilt it Wednesday and they told me that it depends on what broke inside as to if there going to warrenty fixing it, if not i have to find another transmission shop to rebuild it again so im hopeing they warrenty it because i dont feel like haveing to find another shop. The biggest thing is i want it back for next weekend because thats the date of the biggest cruise all year and for some reason i always get cursed with some type of catastrophic failure ever year so for 3 years i havent made it lol.

well i got the transmission back yesterday and found out what broke, it was the drum that attaches to the rear output shaft. where its splined for the clutches to sit in i striped out the splines, the guy that rebuilt it told me in the 80's the made them lighter and thinner and thats why it broke so they put an earlier one in and said im good to go now.
