Easiest way to post pictures?

It has been a number of years since I posted any pics here... since the Photobucket debacle. I no longer have a Photobucket account, and am not going to pay $6 a month when I need to post so few pics. I have searched the stickys for updated info on how to post pics, but they are all many years old. I presume I still need to have a hosting site? So what is the easiest & most popular (free or low cost) site to host pics? I have a mac if that matters. Once pics are hosted, is the posting procedure the same as it used to be for us Photobucket users?

Thanks for the help! I have a short attention span for this stuff & don't want to spend hours trying to figure this out.

You can simply post pics using the manage attachments feature. That’s the way I do it.
