Default Special thanks to Bill Howell

We had a very cool thing happen at the Lateral-G get together. Bill Howell won one of the $250 gift certificates, and asked if he could auction it off for charity. He ended up turning that $250 into $800 thanks to the generosity of the Lateral-G members at the party who bid on it, and re-auctioned it again and again. We are donating the $800. to Kyle Pettys Victory Junction in memory of Todd Gartshore of Baer Brakes, who sadly passed away a few years ago.

Just wanted to give a public thanks to Bill and the people who bid. This is part of what makes our community so great.

That's great what Bill and the rest of those who donated did.

Thanks for letting those of us who weren't there know about it Jody.

Bill can get money out of anyone! Super cool that he does it for such a great cause. Glad we've got people like him around.

WOW (where is the blushing icon?) ! Guys it wasn't me, it was Greg Welds and the other folks that stepped up and either bid on the certificate or actually just donated $100 to the cause. I was simply the conduit that helped make it happen but Jody you too, my friend, was just as responsible by allowing me to do this. I love the folks at Victory Junction and know they do huge things with children. I love this community as a whole and it is just my nature to help with these causes anytime I can. It speaks volumes about this group of guys when at the drop of a hat we can raise $800 for folks we will never personally meet.
Vince, it isn't that I don't come here, I just seldom post, here or PT.com because I just don't have the time to engage threads like I used to. Now, I just lurk more than anything, but know I am here more than you think. You already have the comic relief of Greg, Charlie and others so I just enjoy reading it too and laughing knowing the characters. We even have SW back in the game now so fun to see what new toy he buys too.
Again, a heartfelt thanks to those that did help out and thanks again to Lateral-g for being here as a platform to bring us together and create the bond that let's this all happen on it's own.
Great to see everyone at SEMA, it seems time slips away from us and this is the one time a year we can all get together. I look forward already to next year, lets do it again!!
