Default G-mod with Global West UCA

Has anyone given any closer thought to the dimensions of the Guldstrand mod? I'm specifically thinking of the 1/4" rearward relocation of the upper control arm to increase the caster angle.
I've got the upper control arms from Global West wich already have improved caster built into them. Should I just lower the control arm fixation points without moving them rearward?

1/4" won't do much in the way of caster. I'd just do the regular Guldstrand mod. The GW upper A arm has nearly 1" of relocation. I think one shim would make the difference so not a big deal.

Some guys have other clearance problems between the arm and frame mount, you might verify clearance before doing the mod. Leaving out the rear setback would cause less clearance issues.

Thanks David!

I'll do a test fit and let eventual clearance issues decide if to do the rearward move or not.
