Default A body Drum hubs for big brakes

Anyone used factory drum brake hubs to put 14" rotors on the front of their A body GM?
I got new factory hubs and the OD of center is bigger than ID of rotor.
I'm just wondering about cutting the OD of hub down (did you have to?)
Hoping i didn't buy new 2nd hand incorrect rotors

Default

As it sits now, the factory drum brake hubs DO NOT accept slip on rotors without the rotor being turned down.
This is because the factory drum hub does NOT have enough meat to be skinnefied...

This is info I could NOT find out definitively on the net before this fuukn fiasco...
Hope this helps someone

Thumbs up

Turned down rotors work fine. Put in some longer 1/2 screw in studs (or 12mmx1.5) as well. This thread has some good info.
