Default Introduction from TMI Products

Hey Gang,

I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. I work here at TMI Products, and we just became a supporting vendor of Lateral-G. We are a large scale manufacturing facility in Corona, CA
We manufacture interiors for Camaro, Chevelle, Mustang and Volkswagen. We have been in business for over 30 years stitching away!

I'm happy to be apart of this board! If I can help you at all please feel free to message me, email me, or pick up the phone and give me a ring.

Here's a few example pictures of things we do. This is a 1969 Chevelle Sport R series seat that we manufacture. We added increased bolsters to the sides, suede inserts, and put in a french seam:

This is the same treatment on a 69 Camaro seat:

All of our Sport Seats are designed to work on your stock frames and springs. They give you that extra bolstered seat while retaining a factory look.

We even put some seats in this Chevelle wagon you might recognize:

Thanks again and look forward to being apart of the group!

Good question.

We don't make ANY frames/springs. We manufacture the foam and covers, which are designed to work on your factory springs and frames. This is true whether we are talking Camaro, Chevelle, Mustang, etc. We also don't do any installation here, that's left up to the end user.

Hope that answers a few questions for everybody.

Do you have any pics of the Sport R in black w/ white houndstooth for the '69 Camaro?

Didn't see any on the website. Very good looking seat!

Matt

I don't have one of those yet. We are actually going to be building a set here in a few weeks, so I'll have pictures then.

That caught me off guard first thing in the morning!

No a french seam is shown here:

That's just a picture I pulled off the internet. Sometimes its referred to as a "Cadillac Stitch" as well.

I wanted to make it to that show but it's not going to happen. I will be at the OPGI show on Sunday though. I'll be there with my 66 and some display seats.
