This is what I'd build. The fenders and front valance are aluminum. The hood and doors are fiberglass. The white stuff is original sheetmetal.
It's being built around a 315/345 Hoosier tire, but can easily be swapped to a 313/335 Rival S.
Of course there's not much left of the original body...or frame...or drivetrain...or anything.
But there is a whole lot of performance in a relatively uncomplicated chassis.
