I have one of the Longacre Camber gauges from my racing days but it has the magnet end version that would normally stick to a steel hub....Well I have Wilwood aluminum hubs so the magnet will not work obviously......
So I was searching and saw someone placing the gauge actually on the Rotor. So is this an acceptable location to place it on through the wheel to get a reading or would that be an inaccurate reading versus in/on the actual spindle end itself?
I have one and they make an adapter that you can screw onto the threaded spindle hub.)... The issue I've had is with the castle nut and cotter pin, there isn't much thread exposed to engage
ok, thanks..I will have to check and see how much thread is there and order one if it will work out. If not, I have plenty of room to put it on the rotor through the wheel openings..

for an adapter I was thinking of getting a seperate hub bearing cover and use it as an modified adapter to the gauge itself.

Bingo, that's what I did. I bought an extra cap and made this. You have to be careful as this thing uses a shoulder bolt and wave washer to maintain alignment while allowing you to rotate the gauge. I had to make some shims for it to work, but it does work great.

How would one use that gage on a late model AFX spindle that uses the cartridge style bearing/hub packs? I have an opportunity to buy one of those Longacre gages but I don't know if I can use it.

Have 69 Chevelle Running 20x 10 wheels on rear with 275/35/19 NT-555 tires
and 19x8 wheels in front with 245/35/19 NT-555 tires, tires are low profile
gives hard ride any suggestions on improving ride. Thanks
