Default 70 Noviac

I have been snooping around here and the pro-touring websites for over three years now, and just finally got some pics of my project, they are kind of cruddy, but will have to do for now. It is a 71 pontiac ventura with a 70 nova front clip and tail lights. It is powered by a .030 over 454, and a 350 turbo with 2500 stall. DSE minitubs and a measly 8.2 ten bolt with 3.31 gears. The car has 4 wheel discs from CPP with their 2 inch drop spindles, and 1 inch blocks for the back, lots of powder coating and lots more work to be done. It looks - like hoop-d right now but slowly but surely I am seeing light at the end of the tunnel.

lol I was just commenting on musclerides about how all these second gen novas being built make me want to build a Ventura. Excellent choice if I might say so myself. Keep the pics coming and good luck

Nice to see a Ventura. I am a huge 68-72 Nova freak. I have 3 myself including my first car, a 1970 Nova, that ive owned for 30 years. That being said, i love the Ventura nose with the splitgrill opening, shaker scoop, and bigger tail lights. I know it's probably too late to convert back into a Ventura, the Nova clip works too.
Thing is, i love protouring cars that are un-common, i.e. Ventura's, Cutlass's, older Buicks, Darts, etc... Good luck on your project.
