Default Torque arm rear suspension for S10?

Just put a Maximum Motorsports TA suspension kit on a friend's SN95 Mustang. From the looks of it, I'm thinking it would almost fit my 2000 extended cab S10 with the front pivot located about where the carrier bearing for the two piece driveshaft is. Anybody ever do this, or does it sound feasible? Have to admit I haven't done any research or taken exact measurements, but it sure looks simple and easy.

I've seen a shop(Fast Eddie's) use the TCI T/A on a 90's Jaguar of all things. The pickup frames are very easy to work with so I would say go for it.

Thanks, J. I'll have to take some measurements and give MM a call.

Thanks, Bryce! Seeing the Falcon build makes me want to do that to my Malibu, too.

I put one on a Mitsubishi (Dodge D50) years ago. It will bind if you leave the rear leaf springs mounted solid to the axle.

Switching to coilovers and lower links is the "right" way to do it.

Never though of doing it any other way. Mounting the front of the lower links low enough looks to be the only hassle, but definitely an easy thing to do. Got a friend drawing it up on CAD as we speak.

Please post up your results. I have a short bed so it would be different, but I am looking for some options.

The Speedtech torque arm has been adapted into many applications if your interested we can get you some measurements. it would be an easy install.
