Default Global West upper & Lowers

Global West makes a front bolt in coil -over kit with upper and lowers for around 1600.00 dollars. Does anyone know if this is a pretty good setup? I need some input before I purchase this kit.
Thanks Kevin

Hey Kev , im up to the same point as yerself.(69 camaro) After extensive research im going with the 'speedtech' kit listed at around $1490. im wanting to get it low in the front and some acheive this better than others.
I think with the 'major' brands you really cant go wrong. It just comes down to ease of fit, price, quality of finish, adjustment and service.

ive cut my coils to get it down as much as i could and left around 1/2 inch to bumpstops, and really still wasnt where i wanted it. (top of rim edge)
so after checking out and talking to guys on here such as Ryan (rybar) and others I made my decision.
His car has an awsum stance and still has some front suspension using this kit. I think heidts may go a tad lower ? im told. but for price etc its suits my needs.
Do you have any suggestions, any input is welcomed

Cheers, Gav

I have a set of GW UCA and LCA that I had on my 69 Camaro. They have the Del-A-Lum bushings all around and have less than 400 mi on them. I'll make you a good deal, if interested PM me.

Hi Gav,

I am in the same boat as you. Looking for an all-around steet setup with better handling and about a two inch drop (w/out breaking the bank). I have read that coilovers only go about an inch and a half, but it looks like speedtech goes lower, so they are on my short list with DSE speed kit #1.

Good luck - Ron

you will be able to acheive the ride height you are looking for with the STP uppers and lowers with the QA1 coil over conversion. there is no doubt about that, what size wheel and tire are you running?
Rybar is running the STP components and his could still go a bit lower if he wanted it to.

Yea STP is Speedtech sorry i type it so many times in a day.
depending on tire size and offset of course you will be able to have the rim right at the fender lip . i think Rybar's are 17" wheels if i remember and his sits nice.
