Default What black coating for brackets on LS

As I gather parts and knowledge on the latest stuff to use for swapping my C10, I'm also thinking of how I want it to look. I care not for go with this truck so I am spending all my time thinking of show.

With that said, I believe I'm going to go with an OEM+ look. I really think that will fit the style of this truck. Since my truck is already gold, I don't think I can get away with painting the engine along the lines of United By Trucks' Mississippi Mud C10. I think I will stick with corporate blue since the 305 should have been that color in 86 if I am not mistaken.

I do like the black Holley accessories on Mississippi Mud though. There's no reason for me to use Holley's midmount system since the factory LS brackets will work. What I'm curious about is the best way to go about coating the factory brackets and maybe the alternator housing? Rattle can black? A higher quality black from SPI or the like that needs to be sprayed with a gun? What about anodizing since everything is aluminum? Would cerakote hold up better than paint? Andrew's GTO looks great with the bronze coating on his engine.

I figure the black brackets and maybe accessories along with the block painted corporate blue would give me that OEM+ look I'm after. I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks.
