LS9 '67 Nova

Here's a fun project that showed up a few months ago. We had a client looking for a '66-7, who doesn't right? After looking around at a bunch of rusted out cars for $10K I made a few phone calls and came across a friend's '67 that was a Califorina car complete with one of the first LS9 crate engines!


here it is the day we brought it back to the shop

We came up with a plan to keep is looking fairly original with a few small details. Jet-Stream blue with basic interior, almost as if the car was built in 2012 by GM.


At first we were going to put an AME frame under it but it was too clean to cut up

so we called Allen at DSE!

Monday the BIG crate showed up



I can't say enough about the quality of DSE's product

we are changing up the firewall to match the inner fenders, hiding the master cylinders and keeping everything hidden.

I had to go back and look at that. Pretty funny.

Like the game Where's Waldo ??? he's the blue one under the motor . I know i missed him (the blue jack stand)
