Default Finished the Woody Nova

Here's one I've had on the burner for a while and finally set aside time to complete it. I'm sending this one to Colorado for an auction at a car show to raise $ for sick & injured kids.

I've always liked Novas, have owned at least one since 1987. For a while I owned a 65 wagon and I had big plans for it but had to sell it when I moved across the country. As much as I love Novas and have viewed a bazillion photos of them, I can't recall ever seeing a wagon with wood paneling, so here it is. Used all Illustrator for this one.

Crate ram jet 350/700R4 for a little power and plenty of daily drivability, air bag suspension, and 17" steelies. Filled front fender detail to smooth things out and old school door handles. Oh and a keyless entry and power rear window for easy loading of the boards!

Little shoulder tattoo as well as on the front of the hood. Thought that was a cool touch.

Enjoy!

Dude, I love woody wagons. I could picture this one with high metal flake content, same color and all, but flake'd. I wanna see a '59 Impala Wagon done woody style.

Awesome stuff man, woody's should be one of the monthly contests!

Looks good but I say extend the woodgrain to the fenders as well.
