Default Odd award for a Pro-Touring car.. Wally?

Of all the awards I hoped to win one day I never really expected one of these.. Yep, I won a real-deal Wally driving BP in the drags.. who would have thought? Thanks to Henry at Chevy High Performance for sponsoring the class.. Fastest Media car.. also won overall champ for fastest of all Media and Manufacturers cars. It was a good weekend even if I did fry my clutch into molten slag.

I'm car 302:

Well, it is habbit forming.. lol.. oh well, like the say "if you're not breaking stuff you're not trying hard enough"

Chalk my mistake up to very little manual trans drag experience.. auto yes, manual, not so much.

But, I got the brass ring so it was worth it.

Congrats Steve, that's pretty cool. Not everybody can say they have one of those.

The way it's going, pretty soon everyone will be able to say that. Those things have certainly lost some luster now that they are given away at bracket races, media events, etc....

Congratulation's Steve, way to go! You must have surpised some people, I'm sure there were a lot of drag oriented cars there. Very nice for the office shelf.
