Default 69 Passenger Quarter Low?

Anyone else have problems with repop pass quarter fitting low at the rear of the car at the marker light and deck lid opening? All other measurements check out. The body line and marker light show 3/8's lower! Also is low around deck lid opening.

thanks in advance - Ron

Posted some pics back over at team camaro awhile ago:

http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=144547

Everything measures out level (tail pan, frame rails, rockers, roof line). I think the deck lid looks off due to the notorious tail pan weatherstrip channel bending up on the pass side.

Even with the taillights openings measuring level, you can see that the pass quarter is low around the deck lid opening and the body line and marker light are 3/8s or worse too low. Any insight would be appreciated, I'm at the point of trying another quarter.

From the pictures looks like it got flattened out in shipping. Take both of them off and lay them on the floor I bet the passenger one is flatter. I've had this happen before.

Jeff,

Thanks for info! It does look like this is the problem. I was able to make it much closer by closing the pass quarter up a little. Also helps to mock up the quarters and tailpan w/out the outer WWs as they will need to be massaged. I also think I've got an older pass quarter as the stamping is not as good as I've seen at some recent visits to goodmark dealers...

Thanks again - Ron
