Default My cars on the way to Comp-Spec!!

Everyone here has been incredibly generous and I thank you all once again!

The car is on it's way to Competition Specialties for the body and paint redo. The transporter used a roll back tow truck to get it to their place of business where it will be loaded onto the transporter and make the 3000 mile trip from Oregon to Mass.! Pete has been patiently waiting for the car and will get right at it when it arrives...that should be in about a week. Thanks again Pete for really stepping up and helping me out!

I want to thank SW for helping me find a transporter....thanks again!

And Mario (DOOM) needs thanked again for suppling the materials for the job! Mario, you should be getting that phone call from Pete real soon!

Other's (Jody & Stuart) have really stepped up and helped with a few parts that I needed to move forward with the project, and now there is another name to add! Mike (Muscle Rodz) has donated some MUCH needed OE parts. Thanks Mike, you know how much I appreciate it!

Here are a few pics from just an hour ago! I'm very excited to have the car on it's way and being fixed by a REAL pro....nothing but good times now!!

Oh, and for those that missed the story here's a link to it. And a link to the Paypal Donation thread.

Thanks again everyone!!

That's awesome Anthony. Good to see it's going to get done right this time. I've got a TON of work to do on my car and I really hope this kind of thing doesn't happen to me. I can't wait to see the results when you get your car back. Hopefully there can be some good updates on the progress while the car is at Competition Specialties.

yep, I believe Tony plans on a full-blown build thread with lots of pics from Pete. Congrats again Tony, and many thanks to Pete at Competition Specialties and all the others that have donated to the cause.

Default Congratulations Anthony

Congratulations . I live in Mass. and I've seen the work that Pete and his guys do. I've seen his cars at a few shows but never hooked up with him. I'd say your in good hands now, so rest easy. Wayne

Great to hear.. Pete does top notch work.

In fact he will be painting our second gen project car.. Orange Krate.

When it gets there I will get with him and do a small story on the whole deal, it's good to see a community come together like this.

Let me know if I can be of any help.

Steve, I think the story is a great idea! People always say that car guys/gals are the best people out there...this is proof!

I know when Curtis started 'the thread' he had no idea what was going to happen and certainly never though anything like this! I can't thank him enough for "just wanting me to get things off my chest"!

Yep I feel real good about Pete doing the car...it all going to fine now!
