Default Looking for a Marquez 69 Camaro Front valance front bumper cutout template

Finally getting some more time to work on my project.
I have a Marquez 69 Camaro front lower valance panel I purchased a few years ago.
Beautiful design. Mounted up with no problems what so ever.
Problem is I'm not sure if, where, or how much notching modification to the panel need to take place to reuse my front bumper brackets.
I have spent hours looking at other Camaro enthusiasts projects and have yet to see anything with enough detail pertaining to my endeavor.
How are ya all doing it?
Is there a template available?

Hi Kurt,

I don't think such a template exists. I think Marquez designed the part with the thought that any mounts to a stock bumper would be modified, and go through the valence directly behind the bumper to remain hidden. I have a Marquez bumper and it is designed this way. Hope that helps... Ron

Hi Robert,

That's the way i see it as well. I am hesitant to start cutting my panel and screwing it up along the way.
I just want to make sure I do not over modify the panel for the bumper bracket penetration and seeing a ugly oops! after it is all put together.

Looking for modification and installed pics if anyone has any.

Have you contacted Marquez? They should be able to answer your question, maybe with pics.

Hey Ron thanks for the info.

I did not realize Marquez had a specific bumper to go along with their valance.
I sure did not see it on their web site. Until I re-read your post and went looking for it.
Their web site is a tad bit screwy.
You would have thought that they would have responded to my email by now to inform me that they sell a custom bumper to enhance their lower valance panel.

I will be making time to call them tomorrow.

No problem, here's what the bumper looks like below. It has two mounts that go directly behind to the modified stock mounts on supplied brackets. It requires two small hidden holes in the valance.
