Default PROJECT: “Not at the table Carlos”

-The Story-
I’ve owned this car for 10yrs and when first restorored it was back to the original state. My car stayed like this up until last year when I decided to make my car a little more fun to drive. At first I was really nervous about updating my car since it’s a numbers matching but decided it was time to jumped in and get it done. This was deffenatly the best decision I’ve made, My car handles better than ever.

1969, Chevy, Camaro RS
Project “Not at the table Carlos!”

409 hp / 457 tq

Engine
Type = Chevy Small block
Block = 400
Oiling = 7-quart pan with oil cooler
Rotating assembly = Eagle rotating assembly
Cylinder heads = Edelbrock Permormer RPM
Camshaft = Edelbrock performer cam, Duration 308/318, Lift .488/.510
Valvetrain = Stainless roller
Induction = Edelbrock RPM, Holly 750 converted to E85
Ignition = Edelbrock RPM
Cooling = Aluminum high volume radiator
Fuel system = Carter high volume
Exhaust = Flowmaster with series 40
Fasteners = ARP

Drivetrain
Transmission/shifter = 350 Trans with stock horseshoe
Driveshaft = Stock drive shaft
Rear axle = GM 10 bolt posi, 3:90 gears, Moser 28 spline

Chassis
Front suspension = Hotchkis TVS
Rear suspension = Hotckis TVS
Brakes = Wilwood

Interior
Seats = Corbeau TRS with Crow restraints
Dashboard = Stock
Stereo = don’t need one
Wiring = Stock Replacement
Column = Stock with quick ratio box

Body/paint
Body = All Steel
Paint = Dupont single stage

Wheels/tires
Wheels = Rushforth Night trains
Tires = Front 245/40/18 – Rear 275/35/18 with Nitto NTO5’s

Ahhh i was wondering what car those black night trains from driverz were going on. They look so evil. I love it

Awesome Camaro. Great that you're going to get out and drive it, especially with those mods. Those Rushforth wheels look badaz.

wow that will look great; the black wheels complementing the black bumblebee stripe, with yellow contrast. awesome

Be careful with E85, nobody around here runs it so the gas is old and bad. Some lady messed up her truck running it.

I’ve heard the same thing that you can’t let it set around otherwise it goes bad. The good thing is if E85 doesn’t work out it’s just a matter of changing over the metering blocks and jets.

LOL! I’ve been getting a lot of feedback on the name of my project. I decided to go with a not so serious name for this project and decided to have some fun with it. I’ll tell you when I thought of it I too about peed my pants.
