Sorry to hear it Ron. Wish I was closer I would do it for you. Pretty easy fix typically just depends on whats on top and how deep.

Are you 100% sure its the house side of the cleanout?

Appreciate that Gae. Would've loved to have you do it! Yeah, we camera'd everything. First contractor came in and wanted rediculous money for one side of the house. Got a solid reccomendation for a reputable company and we mapped out the whole deal. My house is U shaped and a combo raised/slab foundation, so one side was the initial problem. By the time we got to the T running out to the street we decided to do another 26 feet, inlcuding replacing what was left of the cast iron under the other side of the house. Pretty much a complete replacement less about five feet of clay going to the city line.

Gotcha. So the cast is rusted through? Had that happen to a house I owned that was built in '62. Replaced it a year after I bought the house in '01 finding the rusted cast during the remodel.
Keep in mind the city is responsible from the cleanout to the main line. Clean outs are typically within 3' of property line but older homes vary greatly and sometimes dont even have a cleanout.
Good luck Bro!!

Accelerating is optional...........stopping is mandatory. Your car WILL stop one way or another.

How's your flowerbeds and plants doing? You could go out there and start fertilizing 'em! They should be going great by spring!

Heck - the Indians used to grow corn that way - and then they'd eat it too!
