Default 7" LED headlight

Anyone ever run these? In particular want to know if the fit in the bucket (67 camaro) looks like the newest model doesn't need a built in fan. Vendor thinks they should work but they are really VW guys and have never personally fit them in a GM

Looks like a good product. The rear of the bulb housing doesn't look overly large. I don't really see anything about the wiring, if it has to be spliced or are factory plugs going to work?

Factory plug and they only draw 2.5 amps the newest ones use silicon and don't need the built in fan ... here is a video the vendor sent me

they look like a aftermarket housing with plug n play led setup in them. you will get lots of foreground light and loose distance lighting. i would look at trucklites or something else . watch

Stielow has run the trucklites in his builds, Mayhem at least, so there's that.

Another vote for trucklites, I have them and they're awesome!

Do they fit in the stock buckets?

The research I've read is that they stick out 1/4 to 1/2" vs stock but fit snug and many leave it that way as they say they cannot tell. Others trim the buckets a bit.

Mine seem to fit just fine. By bucket do you mean the stainless retainer or the plastic part of the grille (the bezel)?

Been a while since i've had a stock light in mine, but I can snap some photos if you want. No bezel on just yet through, need more test fitting (touching grille a bit in areas and hard to screw in), then need painting.

Here is one of the more detailed posts I saw of someone who installed.
